Single Player Commands Mod for Minecraft 1.5.2 and 1.6
Mods are sometimes extremely complex, however when such a mod is done correctly the mod developer “should” insure that the mod is easy to use. For the players sake. If a mod is too hard to use, most players would turn it down for no other reason than; “too difficult to use”. For example, the Single-Player commands mod is most probably one of the most complicated mods ever created. However, the creator took the users of the mod into consideration, and he was smart to do so. Not everyone is a genius when it comes to mods. This complex, however easy to use mod is truly magnificent. Commands that would usually only be able to be used on minecraft servers can now be used in single-player.
Not only this, the mod allows the use of bukkit plugin commands such as worldedit. By using a compatible plugin/mod, you are then granted the ability not only use the plugin/mod but use all the commands that it would normally come with on a server. Even so, plugins are not a large feature of this mod. It was built around the basis of being able to use commands in-game to make life easier. In fact, I was surprised that no-one else had thought about creating this mod earlier. It’s very unique and offers a wide variety of features the player can use, either to his or hers amusement, or for other purposes. The Single-Player Commands Mod for Minecraft 1.5.2
You know a good mod when you can truly notice the amount of effort that has been implemented into it. The Single player commands mod is not only compatible with 99% of all mods out there, but also works with Bukkit plugin commands and much more. Mods have been created to work alongside the singleplayer commands mod that will actually add even more commands than there actually are already.
The commands differ from teleporting to spawn, to unlocking an achievement or disabling a creepers explosion. Commands can be used by simple pressing “T” and then typing in the selected command. There is absolutely no need for the use of a “/” at the beginning of the command. There should be no delay once the command has been typed in. However be warned, the overuse, or spam of commands will effect performance of the game, possibly making you “lag” or even crash. It depends on the quality of your computer.
However, Global commands are used differently to normal commands. For example, the bukkit plugin version of worldedit implemented commands differently. The commands MUST be laid out specifically, by using “//” before the actual command. For example, instead of typing “brush” you would type “//brush”.

A problem that I found with this mod is that there are so many commands to remember. I had to go back and forth through the command list of the forum page, or scroll through countless pages of commands in-game. It became frustrating, however I remembered only the commands I knew I would use the most. In the end it worked out fine, however some players may also find this irritating. This problem probably cannot be fixed easily, and is a little hard to get used to. I would advise players to bookmark the commands list page for any help they may need. Or Bookmark this review for the basic command list.
