Tinkers Construct Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4/1.6.2
Tinkers Construct Mod – Download Tinkers Construct 1.6.4 Mod for Minecraft 1.6.4. As some of you may know, I love these kinds of complicated mods. This one adds in a ton of new ways to customize your tools, such as a new enchantment-like system, which is actually predictable. The tools also get new graphics when upgraded, and this mod adds in a few new types of weapons, and some comedy weapons such as the Frying Pan, Battle Sign, and a few more. Now, onto the more important stuff. I won’t be going too much into detail on crafting, since everything’s in the book you get when you make a world with this mod installed. You get more books as you progress through the mod, as well. This mod also works well with the Natura mod, and they’re almost like sister mods in that sense.
You’ll need blank patterns to make your first items. To make these, put a stick in the top right and bottom left corners, and a plank in the top left and bottom right corners of your inventory’s crafting table. You’ll use these with a block of wood, a plank, or a crafting table to make a few different new crafting tables that you’ll need for the various tools, as well as turning the blank patterns into stencils for basic weapons and tools.
To make the blank patterns into stencils, just stick the pattern into a stencil table and hit Next Pattern. It will show you through the patterns for the tool parts, which will be combined to make the tools themselves. Pickaxes need a pickax head, tool binding, and a rod for example. These can be made of different materials, and the mining strength is decided by the pickaxe head itself. A wooden pickax head with an iron rod wouldn’t be able to mine redstone or anything like that.
It does make some tools cheaper thanks to all of this complication, though. Iron pickaxes only need 2 iron ingots if you want the pickaxe to be made out of all iron. It’ll wind up having a durability of over three hundred in that case. But you can combine different heads with different bindings and different rods.
Now, you’ll notice in the book some different stats on the different materials. Durability and stuff like that. The handle modifier changes how much the pickax’s durability is based on that. So, an iron pick with a stone handle would have half the durability as the iron head says.
When you make your first weapon you’ll notice that you get these things called chunks, shards, and whatnot when you make the bindings or the rods. This is worth half of whatever material you put in. If you have a part that costs .5 of a material, it will accept either an iron ingot, and return a tool rod and an iron chunk, or will accept an iron chunk and return a tool rod.
You’ll need to use the materials made inside the Tool Station to put them together. Just click on the icon of whatever tool you want to make on the left, place the materials in, and pull the tool out.
These tools will never break, either. Well, they won’t disappear when broken. You can repair them by putting in the same materials used to make the pickaxe head into the first tab of the Tool Station.
There’s also a multi-block structure in this mod. I may not be a huge fan of multi-blocks, but I actually like this one. It’s a giant furnace that runs off of lava, and is used in making various alloys in the mod.
This mod is way too complex for me to state literally everything about it. That and it’s meant to be played with, not read about. Various items need various parts to make, and when you put them together in different combinations, such as an ax with an iron head, an obsidian binding, and a wood rod, then you’ll get a ton of different effects from each of the parts, and it will look like you’ve made it from iron, obsidian, and wood instead of looking like the same weapon with different enchantments. Jump in and see what kind of cool tools you can make.
If you like an obscene amount of customization I would highly, HIGHLY recommend you download this. I can’t think of a way for minecraft to be more customization than by choosing every material that goes into your tools and weapons.
